Carrier Lumber Ltd. - Environment Certifications
Carrier Lumber is committed to responsible stewardship of the environment in its forest practices. To this end, Carrier Lumber has implemented and maintained an Environmental Management System.
To further the commitment of responsible stewardship, Carrier Lumber’s woodlands operations are independently certified to the SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative) Standard 2015-2019, an internationally recognized sustainable forest management certification program, for both Forest Management and Fiber Sourcing.
Carrier Lumber is also committed to Chain of Custody (COC) certification. COC certification verifies that a company has a system that traces the flow of wood from certified forests through a company's facility. Carrier Lumber obtained COC certification in 2006.
